The Optronics PG11 is an explosion proof, rugged Optical Gas Detector for the detection of flammable gases and CO2 . PG11 comes with a life-time factory calibration, the Solid State Infrared SafeSource™ ensures unmatched stability and lifetime and the built-in condition monitoring keeps maintenance and process abruptions at a minimum. A broad range of accessories ensure that the PG11 is ready to be used in most applications from duct mounts to extractive cabinet solutions. All accessories are easy to change should the need arise. The OptoCom™ module is available for extended system integration. The PG11 is designed for use in SIL2/SC3 systems and to withstand ambient conditions such as extreme temperatures and vibrations, all to ensure “Detection for real safety - for real life”

The Vector is state-of the-art point gas detector with local display. It can be configured to monitor up to two sensors directly connected or remotely installed up to a separating distance of 500 ft. For combustible detection, it can use a plug-in sensor that is either IR (Infrared) or a catalytic bead type.

The unit comes standard with multiple outputs, allowing you to choose whether to connect via 4-20mA, RS485, or relay to your system for reliable communication. The Vector makes the calibration process easy and seamless with on-site non-intrusive calibration via local display or using HART hand held device. The event log stored in on-board memory allows it to maintain calibration records and diagnostics.

The Vector can be used as a multi-use display unit that can receive signals from all of ESP Safety’s gas detectors (SGOES, TGAES, and PGU). The vivid OLED display shows the type of gas, real-time concentration, and alarm levels.

The detector comes in stainless steel housing.

The state-of-the-art multi-spectral infrared technology of ESP Safety‘s Model IPES-IR4000 Flame Detector affords the highest sensitivity in detecting flames from combustible vapors gases within its 120° conical field of view.
IPES-IR4000’s advanced detection technology ensures rapid flame recognition and alarm signaling. In addition, IPES-IR4000’s selective, multi-spectral technology virtually eliminates false alarms. It ignores false triggers from sources such as direct or indirect sunlight, arc welder flash, resistive heaters, fluorescent, halogen, and incandescent light.
IPES-IR4000 sends an alarm only when data from multiple different IR wavelengths agree that a flame or fire is present in the field of view. Upon confirmation of flame or fire, the IPES-IR4000 transfers alarm signals to receiving control devices located in control and operations rooms and to fire alarms and burglar/fire alarm systems.

The IPES-IR4000 Flame Detector is constructed with an explosion-proof housing for use in hazardous (classified) locations.

The Vector Toxic Gas Detector is designed to safely detect and monitor a variety of toxic gases in the air, including hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide, chlorine, nitric oxide, sulfur dioxide, and many others. To see the full list of detected gases please go the tab “type of gases” on this page.
